Delves more onto Shifu's backstory and does it well.Decent animation for a lower-budget TV series, with character expressions and movements being gluent enough.

Great villains such as Hundun, Fung, Temutai, Ke-Pa and Master Junjie, who are very hilarious and/or intimidating.Unlike The Penguins of Madagascar (another good show produced by Dreamworks Animation that is on Nickelodeon), it actually focuses on the plot, instead of just the humor.Very catchy theme song, as weird as the lyrics might be.Po himself is a very funny main protagonist most of the time, despite being much more arrogant and cocky than in the movies to the point it can get sometimes out of character, which caused criticism some from the fans (see BQ#4).It is very faithful to the original Kung Fu Panda films it was based off of, taking place in between Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2.Now living in the barracks with the Furious Five, Po will have to take on his many new responsibilities, his many new adversaries, and his many old pounds in the continuing adventures of the Dragon Warrior. "Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness" tells the continuing adventures of Po as he trains, protects, fights, teaches, learns, stumbles, talks too much, and geeks out as the newest hero in the Valley of Peace. It serves as a bridge between the first and second films, showing Po's training to becoming a successful Dragon Warrior, where the second film is, according to the series' developer Peter Hastings, "not unlike a very long, super-deluxe 3-D version of one of our episodes".
